2017 Kia Sportage : Concept Cars

Previewed by a set of teaser sketches, the Sportage gets a much bolder design than the current model. Its front fascia is characterized by a wide rendition of Kia's Tiger Nose corporate grille mounted below a pair of elongated headlights, while the rear end gets a roof-mounted spoiler and thin horizontal tail lamps.
Interior pictures weren't leaked, but Kia's official sketches depict a sporty-looking cockpit with a flat-bottomed steering wheel, a driver-oriented center console and bucket seats with red contrast stitching. The sketches of the exterior were exaggerated, which means the Sportage will get a decidedly less sport-focused cockpit.
In Europe, the Sportage will launch gasoline- and diesel-burning four-cylinder engines borrowed from the Kia parts bin. U.S. specifications will be announced in the next few months, but sources close to the car maker have hinted the next Sportage could spawn Kia's first-ever hybrid crossover.
The 2017 Kia Sportage will be unveiled online in the next few weeks. The crossover on display in Germany will be a Euro-spec model, and the U.S.-spec version will most likely be presented in November at the Los Angeles Motor Show.
