1956 Maserati A6G 2000 Zagato : Classic Cars

Of the 1900 berlinetta bodies Zagato built for Maserati's formidable 2-liter A6G2000 chassis, this is the only one to get the trademark double-bubble roofline. The original family owned it for 40 years. When its life as a daily driver in the San Fernando valley was past, the car was sent back to the owner's home town of Savacco, Sicily in Italy (that's where parts of The Godfather series were filmed). To ensure its security, he had it bricked up in a garage there, where it remained until its recent restoration.
