"One of Seven" Vanquish : Concept Cars

We love carbon fiber. Not only does it look downright sexy when laid bare, but its structural and weight-saving abilities are astounding. Q by Aston Martin, the luxury sports car maker’s bespoke personalization service, is celebrating the fulfillment of delivering a Vanquish boasting an exclusive exterior finish that sees multiple layers of interwoven carbon fiber that produces a smooth finish.

The car, a “One of Seven” specialty, will be, unsurprisingly, one of seven delivered to Markus Storck, founder and head of German hi-tech bicycle manufacturer Storck Bikes, and six fellow sports car aficionados.

The interwoven carbon fiber exterior forced Aston Martin to develop an entirely new addition to its manufacturing process, with the first of seven cars scheduled to be delivered to Storck at an event held at AM’s headquarters in Gaydon.

The smooth carbon fiber is accompanied by diamond quilting on the seats, machined carbon Aston Martin wings badges, ‘One of Seven’ logos perforated into the head restraints and a variety of gloss black styling additions.

“I’m absolutely thrilled to see my vision for a series of bespoke Aston Martin Vanquish come to life like this,” Storck commented. “The attention to detail, service and dedication I have seen from the Q team has been exceptional — and the result is outstanding.”

With enough money and an automaker willing to go above and beyond for its customers, anything is possible.
