Morgan Aero 8 : Current Models

A decade and a half ago, the Morgan Aero 8 made its debut. This morning, the automaker announced a new-generation car in Geneva. While it looks similar to the previous Aero 8, Morgan has made some updates to the chassis, although they're not terribly specific about it.

It's claimed torsional rigidity has been improved with additional stiffening of the aluminum chassis. The suspension is all-new, and there's a new BMW limited slip differential out back. As before, power is by BMW in the form of a 4.8-liter, 367-hp V8.

This car will supplant both the older Coupe and Convertible, but while the new Aero 8 is a convertible, the company will offer an optional hardtop. Inside, there's a new dashboard with new wood and leather trim. And there's a new, more effective air conditioner, to make things a little more enjoyable in warm climates.

The car looks and sounds beautiful:

The Aero 8 goes on sale in the fourth quarter of 2015.
