2025 LaFerrari To Be Hybrid : News

The LaFerrari hybrid supercar has barely hit the streets but Ferrari already has plans to replace it with a new model in 2025. Italian designer Adriano Raeli has created a concept he thinks would be perfect follow-up to the LaFerrari. He calls his creation the F80, and it is a stunning piece of work.

Raeli envisions his creation with a hybrid power train featuring a 900 horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine similar to the one Ferrari will use in the replacement to the 458 Italia. Coupled with a 300 horsepower electric motor, the LaFerrari successor would be capable of sprinting to 60 mph in just 2.2 seconds and have a top speed of 310 mph thanks to aerodynamic body work inspired by the Boeing NGAD fighter jet concept

The body features staggered seating to keep the passenger compartment as narrow as possible for aerodynamic efficiency. It also allows a clear view of the car’s Formula One style suspension components.

Raeli, a recent graduate of the Transportation Design course at Art Center College, says “The F80 Concept aims to bring the most authentic F1 experience and performance to the road without compromising the brand’s class and elegance of form. The vehicle is designed with Formula 1 architecture in mind with a blend of Ferrari’s Le Mans heritage.”
