2015 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe : Current Models

The Cadillac CTS-V models elevated the American luxury brand into the elite of the performance wars. Capable of duking it out with the best from Mercedes AMG, BMW M, and Audi RS models, the 556-horsepower CTS-V was available as a sedan, coupe, and super stealthy wagon.

The CTS-V is on a fast-track towards legendary status. Powered by a 556-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V-8 engine, the V-Series made Cadillac relevant to an entirely new generation of automotive fans. Available in sedan, coupe, and wagon format, the edgy styling and blistering performance of the CTS-V made it stand out in a hugely competitive field. To celebrate the end of the line, Cadillac is building a limited run of 500 special edition CTS-V Coupes. Mechanically speaking, these are identical to the regular models.

So in addition to the grumbling V-8 and standard 6-speed manual gearbox (a 6-speed automatic is optional), each comes fitted with high performance Brembo brakes and Magnetic Ride Control suspension. The 2014 special edition models are cosmetically set apart thanks to new Recaro seats, satin graphite wheels, red brake calipers, suede-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and unique Ebony interior with red stitching and “Midnight Sapele” wood trim.

Color choices include Phantom Gray, Crystal White and Black Diamond. We don’t normally get this worked up about a change of color and trim but, let’s face it, this last-of-the-line CTS-V Coupe would be an amazing ride even if you painted it hot pink. The price starts at $72,195 (including a $995 destination charge and $1,300 gas guzzler tax) and Cadillac is taking orders right now.
