2014 Aston Martin Vanquish Volante : Current Models

Aston Martin Logonda Limited is a British manufacturer of the sports car founded in the year 1913 and its headquarters is located in Gaydon, warwickshire, United Kingdom. During the war they shifted to production of aircraft as there was a fall of income in cars, but later after the war, they shifted back to producing cars and raised in its fame. Because of its mark as 100 years, the Aston’s wants to mark their victory with a new car that makes something special in the market. With more advanced engineering, design and with the finest materials they created the Vanquish. The new features along with the glass buttons takes the car to new heights and gives a good feeling for the drivers as well as for the passengers. Vanquish is the most luxurious car in the Aston Martin’s history of cars. The Volante is introduced newly which is similar to the Vanquish in lot many ways except for its rear deck and roof structure.

Their models the Vanquish and the Volante are the best and every year the new models brings something new features in it. The new model seems to be the best convertible with its sporty look being roofless. Powerful and very fast and is worth the amount payed to buy it. The forthcoming Volante will have the same features from its coupe version except with some changes and a new feature of lightweight fabric top that takes just 14 seconds to fold. Although the overall shape and look is the same as 2012 model, this new version has a different lower front lip and small rectangular mouth along with larger air ducts, revised headlight assemblies, nostril-style heat extractors on the hood.

Vanquish Volante Exterior:
The new version has an elegant waist with elongated side strakes and LED rear light blades inspired by one-77 supercar. Just like the other Aston cars this body panel will be made with carbon fiber as well. The car has new features with the new full height windshield basically that stretches to the top of the header on the outside.

The Interior:
Apart from the standard version, the new Vanquish Volante has a new information system and more user-friendly design with its interior. Customers of this new car has an option to choose between metal controls and and a satin chrome trim. For a much classy look the center stack switchgear has buttons with haptic feedback for a reinterpretation of your iphone’s touchscreen.

The new model has an AM11 naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V-12 engine that delivers a total of 565 horsepower at 6.750 rpm and a peak torque of 457 pound feet at 5,500 rpm. The new Vanquish has standard 20-inch wheels providing the customers to choose for 10 or 20 spokes alloy wheels.

The engine sends all the power to the rear wheels through a Touchtronic 2 six-speed automatic gearbox.

The new Vanquish Volante is built on the new Vertical Horizontal (VH) architecture. This new architecture makes the new Vanquish more stiffer with more strength and rigidity than the DBS Volante.

The new model is also equipped with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), Positive Torque Control (PTC), Adaptive Damping System (ADS), and also allows the driver to set the suspension system according to the road or driving conditions.

The breaking system is also a new thing Aston car which has the Brembo Carbon Ceramic Matrix (CCM) that helps the stopping distance in most difficult driving conditions. The braking system consists of 398 x 36 mm CCM discs with four piston calipers.
