Paul Walker’s ‘lookalike’ Brother Asked To Complete FF7 : News

Paul Walker’s younger brother has reportedly been asked to help complete the Fast & Furious 7.

The 40-year-old actor was on a break from the upcoming movie when he died in a fiery crash in Santa Clarita, Calif., on November 30. Now, his lookalike sibling Cody Walker, 25, who has worked as a stuntman, has been asked to step in to help filmmakers finish the movie as a tribute to Paul, various news outlets report.

A source told the MailOnline website: “Producers had a string of meetings right after Paul’s death and how to deal with the scenes involving Walker’s character, Brian O’Conner.

The source notes that Cody is “nearly identical” to Paul and can be filmed from behind and at a distance to finish the remaining scenes. For closeups, “they can CGI it later on,” the source said.

This solution would have the added advantage of not appearing insensitive to Paul’s memory, the source said.

The persistent rumour that Justin Bieber may have a role in the movie was not addressed.

Cody Walker has not replied to the request as yet. He lives in Oregon but is staying with his mother in Los Angeles, and the focus right now is on his family. “Right now the family and cast and crew are all still grieving,” the source said.

Universal Pictures shut down production on the movie, which began in September, when they heard about Paul’s death.
